Cancer Camp:
A time where kids can be kids, build friendships, and learn about who Jesus is and what he did for them.
Rob and Marc had a dream about a camp for kids, thus Cancer Camp was born. It took several years of planning and legwork, but we have now been hosting the camp every year since 2017. In the first few years, we rented a space to host the camp. Since 2022, we have been hosting this camp at our own facility in Pespire, Honduras, in conjunction with the Foundation for Children with Cancer. This foundation is similar to the Ronald McDonald House here in the States.
Every year, we take a team of between 6-12 people to help run the camp. We love pouring into these youth through sharing Jesus, playing games, doing arts and crafts, eating meals, and just being present with them. We also love worshiping with the campers and are always looking for people who have skills with leading worship or playing instruments.
